The Nui Tuong education, project is based on the development of a sustainable agriculture system, with a goal of providing free education to the local children in Nui Tuong. Together with the help of international volunteers, the project has had a strong start but, much work still needs to be done!
Most of the local children do not have access to quality education. Their guardians are traditional farm workers who lack the resources to teach their children. Thirty percent of the youth in this area are living with their grandparents and other relatives in difficult conditions, while the parents of the children are working far away, have seperated are have passed away. The need for an educational opportunity like Nui Tuong is imperative. We aim to equip the children with practical skills, such as critical thinking, academic rigor, knowledge of how to develop and sustain an agri-business, and personal core values such as honesty, maintaining physical health, creativity, kindness, self-respect, self-discipline and gratitude. We want to inspire the younger generation to invest their learned skillsets back into the village and education project, thus creating an interconnected and supportive community.
With the help of international volunteers, free English classes and various workshops are offered to the local children.
Students learn about different agricultural methods, with a focus on sustainability.
We have a library with English and Vietnamese books and computers for students‘ use.
What better way to experience Vietnam than getting out of the overcrowded cities, and coming to our villagestays in the quaint rural village of Nui Tuong? Situated just outside of Ho Chi Minh City and nestled along the Dong Nai River, offering breathtaking scenery as well as wonderfully hospitable people. We offer educational programs, organising English and agricultural classes for students, and agritourism, for travellers who enjoy the countryside.
We provide English and agricultural classes for students, who reside outside of Nui Tuong during the summer and on weekends. Students are invited to stay and learn for time periods ranging from one weekend to two months.
We are currently offering a summer program giving children the opportunity to discover themselves, learn to be confident, and develop practical skills about agriculture. Activities include learning English, flying kites, learning about agriculture, exploring nature, learning kung fu, visiting the Cat Tien National Park and many games!

Time starts from June.
Tourists who enjoy the countryside will be provided with sightseeing opportunities. As compared to the city, the air is much cleaner, the people are much nicer, the way of life and daily experiences there are much more calm and enriching. Take a riverboat tour along the Dong Nai to the nearby Cat Tien National Park and experience pristine jungle and wild nature, only 3 kilometers away.

We are developing a healthy and sustainable soagriculture system by utilizing land with the upmost efficiancy in order to ensure a steady income that will fund the education project. Most of the local farmers are living in difficult conditions, facing many times poverty and illness. We want to change this.
We currently have a ten year lease on 1.8 hectares of land on which we use 1 hectare for growing conventional organic farm fruits such as mangosteen, durian, rambutan and banana. The remaining 6000m2 is used for organic farm fruits; banana, rambutan, dragonfruit and durian. We also cooperate with other farmers to grow dragronfruit, beans and other vegetables. We now have established farmers who are working with us with a total area of about 6000m2.
We need support to continue the community upliftment of the village of Nui Tuong. You can help us either by volunteering or by making a donation.
We need more support in order to keep the project going and developing. Our current needs are:
Volunteering in an international organic farm and school can be quite an enriching experience. Waking up with the equatorial sun and to a birdsong every morning is only one of the small perks of volunteering one’s time. Interspersed among the daily tasks, are countless opportunities to interact with the local children. These children are some of the most sincere and amazing little people one could ever hope to meet. The entire time of which, you are working beside volunteers from all over the world, which is a great opportunity to make new friends and learn about different cultures.
