Empowering 300 Students to Transform Their Futures
In the misty mountains of Núi Tượng, Lâm Đồng, something beautiful is happening. Three hundred children have had opportunities to discover their potential, one lesson at a time.
Not in rows of desks, but in gardens, computer rooms, riversides, and community spaces — learning becomes real, relevant, and rooted in daily life. Núi Tượng is where tourism, nature, and education blend into a living classroom for rural youth, urban families, and international visitors.
From no computers to global applications
In 2016, our students had never touched a computer — local schools didn’t offer IT classes. Today, they manage digital communication, create presentations, and navigate international applications.
We started with basics: how to clean a toilet. Núi Tượng is now famous for having some of the cleanest bathrooms around. Why? Because doing small things excellently builds capacity for bigger things.
Our core team students learn English not only from textbooks but through weekly classes with international volunteers, cultural exchanges with Singaporean university groups, and real conversations with global visitors. They develop office skills by managing actual projects and gain soft skills through organizing events and welcoming guests.
When local youth become teachers
Culture isn’t observed here — it’s co-created. When international students from NUS, NTU, and UWC arrive, our local students become cultural ambassadors.
They teach traditional fabric dyeing, lead macramé and craft workshops, host music nights, and guide archaeological tours around Cát Tiên. This reversal is intentional: rural students practice leadership while earning income from their heritage.
Her story isn’t unique at Núi Tượng — it’s the blueprint. What changed? We gave her what local schools couldn’t: English lessons, computer skills, international exposure, mentorship, and most importantly, the belief that rural students belong on global stages.
